Sue Williams

Board President

Term Expires:

I have lived in the district for over 20 years. My most important role in life is being a wife and mother. My husband, Murray and I have two sons, Chase and Drew. I have been a PTO officer and a 4-H advisor. My husband and I are involved in most of our children's activities. I work part-time as a veterinary assistant, which is a very rewarding job.

I always had an interest in running for the school board, but I thought I would wait till my children were a little older. In 1995 a member of my community was unable to fulfill their term to the school board. I felt it was important that we continue to have representatives from each community on the board. I was interviewed by the members of the board with five other people and I was appointed to the position. In 1997 I was re-elected.

My goal for Southeast is to continue to strive for unity of our district through communication so we can provide a better education for our children. We are working towards continuity of curriculum and programs so all students will have the same educational background. Then we must continue to provide a challenging education throughout their high school years so they may be successful and productive citizens.

I grew up in Wooster, but I have been a Southeast resident since 2002.  My wife Emily, a 2000 Waynedale graduate,  and I have been married  for over eleven years.  Our three youngest children attend Fredericksburg Elementary.  My community involvement over the years has included many local youth activities including T-ball and Little League coaching, ABLE advisory member, Fredericksburg Community Dinners, and volunteer chaplain for Dunlap Hospital in Orrville.

My current position is Lead Pastor of DayBreak Community Church (DCC). DCC is a nondenominational community church in downtown Wooster. I am also Director of the Wooster Hope Center (WHC). WHC has been providing groceries, clothing, hygiene products, diapers and haircuts to those in Wayne County that may be in need of some assistance for over four years now and has become the largest distributor of food assistance in Wayne County.

Everything I do, I do it with the intention to help make a difference.  That is what I want to continue to do on the Southeast Local School Board, help make a difference! I would like to hear from the communities, the parents, the students and the school staff on how I and the other board members can help make a difference for you and for our schools.  As your elected representative, If you would like to contact me with questions, ideas, or concerns,  I can be reached by phone 330.464.5608 or via email at soea_rfrazier@tccsa.net.

I graduated from Waynedale High School in 1984. My husband, Larry, is a 1981 graduate of Waynedale also. We have three boys, Benjamin, Spenser, and Seth who have graduated or are currently attending Waynedale. I have been employed at Reberland Equipment, Inc. for 24 years, and I have lived in the Apple Creek area my whole life. I enjoyed my educational experience, and the experiences of my children, at Southeast Local Schools.

I am in my second term on the School Board, having previously served one term from 2000–2004, and look forward to being actively involved in the future of Southeast Local Schools. I am a past PTO officer, Booster Club Officer, and have served as East Union Township Fiscal Officer for the past seven years.

I look forward to serving all of the communities within our District to provide the best educational experience for all the students of Southeast Local. I strive to be accessible to any questions or concerns from community members and staff. I can be reached at 330-698-9948 (home), 330-698-5883 ext 107 (work), or 330-464-1836 (cell).

I would first like to thank the community for giving me this opportunity to assist the children and the residents of Southeast Local Schools.  It is truly an honor to serve.  I ran for this position to offer my assistance and to help our district remain a strong school district committed to excellence.

I grew up north of Wooster, but I have been a Southeast resident since 1987.  My wife LuAnn, who many of you may know as she is the head cook at the high school,  and I have been married  for over thirty years.  Our four children are all graduates of Waynedale.  Each of them were very active in sports at the school for which we enjoyed watching them compete for the Golden Bears.  My community involvement over the years has included many local youth activities including coaching, 4-H adviser, Sunday School leader, and scorekeeper for WHS sports.

My current position is VP of Operations/CIO for Wayne Insurance Group, responsible for underwriting, marketing and information technology.  I have over twenty-five years of management experience and over thirty years of working with technology.  I hope to add value to the district  by bringing my experiences to the board.  I especially enjoy developing solutions for tough issues.

We will only be successful if residents are involved and communicate their thoughts with the board.  I invite residents to contact me with questions, ideas, or concerns.  I can be reached by phone at 330-698-1138 or via email at soea_tsuppes@tccsa.net

I am a 1975 graduate of Hiland High School. I live outside of Fredericksburg and am employed as a Rural Carrier for the Fredericksburg Post Office. I enjoy working with people and look forward to serving my community as a board member.

I am married to Betty (Weaver), and have 3 children: Ryan, Kelly and Brady. I enjoy family time and watching my children as they participate in various activities at school, church and our community. I spend a lot of time at the local ball diamond, working with those who run the program and working with the kids. Sports have always been a favorite pastime for me, and I enjoy attending as many Southeast events as possible.

As a Board Member, I look forward to serving all of our communities and students. I feel we have a great school system and I am excited to be a part of educating our students. A school district’s biggest challenge is to meet the needs of ALL of the students. A true educator meets and challenges each student at the level that they are at.

As your elected representative, I want to have an open line of communication with the Southeast staff and community members. I can be reached at (home) 330-695-6503 or (cell) 330-464-0957.
