Southeast Local Schools will begin offering Telehealth starting the week of October 29.  Telehealth is a delivery and facilitation of health and health-related services including medical care, provider and patient education, health information services, and self-care via telecommunications and digital communication technologies. Live video conferencing, mobile health apps, “store and forward” electronic transmission, and remote patient monitoring (RPM) are examples of technologies used in telehealth.  Our nurse Tara Jacobs will work with Aultman Orrville Hospital to be one of the first schools in Ohio to offer telemedicine to students in our school clinics for only $10.00 per visit.  A telehealth packet will be sent home with students that MUST be completed in order to participate.  All forms can also be located on our district website under the parent tab.
